Barcelona, 1984. After obtaining her degree in graphic design in the Barcelona design school EINA, Irene went on to win her first recognition, the student award “Grand Laus 2008”. She began working in the graphic design industry in Columna Group as an intern. Few months later she started working with the prestigious illustrator Philip Stanton in his studio. One year later she moved to London to study illustration in the British Design School London College of Communication.When she returned to Barcelona she developed graphic design projects with Larsson
Druprez, Seis Grados, 4 Funkies and other advertising agencies. At the same time she did another illustration course in EINA.For the last four years she has been working in Camper as trend analyst, Camper
Barcelona Design Center coordinator and in charge of collaboration with Art & Design Schools, research of new talents, organization of the Summer Camper Workshop, prints design for Camper shoes and bags collection.
Recently Irene Sierra has started running her own bags brand, SILA.
