Müpün is a kid's fashion brand with very solid values related to the land, the Mapuche tribe, and respect for nature.
Müpün means «to fly» in the mapuche language. Related to this concept and values, we stumbled upon the Magangá del Sur, a bumblebee originally from Argentina, with strong connections to the Mapuche tribe and so many other links with the brand. Our tiny friend is always present, represented by the umlauts on the logotype.
This concept guided us into a playful and rich ecosystem in its communication. Throughout the branding applications for this project, we incorporated references related to the flight of the bumblebee: playful, bumpy and vibrant, within the Müpün imaginary.
Its identity is built on a versatile canvas that aims to mutate in order to mimic the shapes and movements of nature, in accordance with and respect for the forms from the past.
For Müpün's brochure we created an abstract layout that reflected the passing of time and the growth of children. Each spread page of the catalog is represented in different color or texture paper sheets and changes as quickly as we do when we are growing as a child.
